Election Day Tuesday

Today, I watered the garden, both front and back, paid some bills including my property taxes, practiced the piano, checked on one of my cousins, and spoke with friend R.

Later, I divided up the 3-lb. package of ground turkey and froze two thirds of it.  With the balance one third, I made meatballs and made a turkey meatballs curry:

Turkey Meatballs Curry

Dinner was rice and turkey meatball curry.

I have spent the entire evening and most of the night watching the election coverage on TV.   It is still continuing as I type this, at 1:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning.

Today, I am grateful for:

- Water for the garden

- Being able to pay my bills

- All the extra ground turkey I received

- Being able to keep in touch with family and friends

- Being an eye witness to history

My joyful activity today was spending time in the garden.

Wednesday's To Do List:

- Vacuum

- Laundry

- Tidy the family room

- Practice the piano

- Water the indoor plants

How was your Tuesday?  What are your plans for Wednesday?

  4. DH was up in the night checking results, I used it as an excuse to read a few more chapters of a great David Baldacci book called, "One Summer", family stuff, not his usual style and I can't put it down! Well, we are still checking. I hope not in the night again! DDIL is also glued to results. I told her she should come up and join us!

    1. Thank you, Debra. I like meatball curries. This is the first time I've tried turkey meatballs, but, I think they turned out quite well.

It's turning out to be a real nail-biter of an election, isn't it?
