Meanwhile, someone had thrown up in the family room, on the floor and the area rug, and left it all for me to find and clean up! This morning's nap was taken on another favorite napping spot - the back of the family room sofa:
"Why else would Mummy put a bed sheet on the sofa if not for me to sleep?" |
I got home a little after 3:00 p.m., had a late lunch, watched news, and shredded another couple of file folders of papers - my mother's bank statements. Later, I vacuumed the house.
Today, I am grateful for:
- A good appointment with the doctor
- Good blood test results
- A safe drive to the appointment and back
- A sunny, warm day
- What I was able to accomplish, today
Wednesday's To Do List:

A great doctor's appointment. Hurray!
ReplyDeleteThank you. It felt good to have a good visit with good results. :)
DeleteI'm so thankful to hear that your results were good and congratulations on not gaining any weight.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Eileen. I had been worried I'd gained, because I've been eating a lot of what I shouldn't be eating!
DeleteGreat the appointment at your doctor went well☺
ReplyDeleteThank you, Natalia.
DeleteAt least Dancer doesn't look any worse for his throwing up incident. He looks very comfortable.
ReplyDeleteI'm pleased your results were good. X
Cats know how to make themselves comfortable wherever they are, don't they?
DeleteThank you. :)
Glad to hear the dr appt and results were good! Have a good day :)
ReplyDeleteThank you. I try not to worry about these things, but, there is still a bit of a worry at the back of the mind, until I see the doctor and am told all is well, still.
DeleteGlad you had good news!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sharon.
DeleteFantastic news! Wow, your sister was on a very long cruise. I am always reading about those itineraries.
ReplyDeleteThank you. Yes, she and her husband go on 2 or 3 long cruises every year. In fact, they met while they were on a cruise! :)
DeleteWhat a great doctor's appointment. You even found your weight had not increased!
ReplyDeleteI have been too tired and lazy to post but I have been reading. We had two overnight trips to different cities, the second gave us a visit with our son and family which was great and the weather even cooperated. DH has seen a dental specialist and that went well. The flooding here is abating and it was amusing to see ducks wandering on someone's lawn down by the river, possibly looking for something good to eat that they had found earlier when it was under water.
Thank you, Bushlady. I was happy not to have gained. The nurse said, "You didn't lose, either", and that is true, but, I was happy to have stayed the same! LOL.
DeleteGlad to hear your trips were successful and you got to visit your son and family on one of them. Hope the weather continues to be nice and the flooding continues to abate. Hope the ducks found some yummy food, too.
I can understand your anxiety with doc appointments. I had them for all of my prenatal appointments. My doctor was from India, and it was always the best thing in the world to hear her say, “everything looks good.”
ReplyDeleteWhat gets feline bodily fluids out of carpeting the best btw?
Thank you, Akasha. I'm always praying for good health, these days. :)
DeleteAs for the carpet - I wipe up everything with paper towels and then, wash the area with soap and water, or a disinfectant wipe. Fortunately, he hasn't urinated on the carpet - pet stores sell some type of special cleaner to get the odor out, if they do urinate. I have wooden floors throughout the house now, and only this one area rug in the family room, but I've had wall to wall carpeting before, with two previous cats.
