Front "Lawn" in the Rain |
Another rainy morning! I love waking up to the sound of rain! Especially, when I don't have to go out in it! Yes, the day is grey and dark, but the rain is a blessing, as it's moisture we desperately need. As you can see from the state of my practically non-existent front "lawn"!

Soaking up the Rain! |
My neighbor knocked on my door, shortly after 9:00 a.m. She said she has no phone service. She came to check if my phone was working (it was) and asked if her husband could come over later to use my phone to report loss of service. I said yes, of course, but it's been 3 hours since and I haven't heard from him, so I presume their phone service was restored.
I called the office to discuss a project with a co-worker who is also working on the same project with me. Then, called my supervisor to update her, as well, and left her a message.
In between, I folded and put away yesterday's load of laundry, made a tuna salad sandwich for brunch, and took pictures of the garden enjoying all the rain it's getting. :)

Today's To Do list:
- work on the office project
- do the dishes
- take down decorations
- change daughter's bedding
- do another load of laundry.
Today, I am grateful for:
- More rain for the garden
- Being able to work from home
- Internet and phone service
- Electricity
- Being able to take photos with my laptop (even if they come out a bit blurry!)
How is your Wednesday?
So happy you are getting some much needed rain.
ReplyDeleteMy Wednesday is good. Dropped off Little Wolf at my mom's and spent about 5 hours alone. Made an apple pie, used a deep cleaner thingy on the couch, played games, cleaned some on the balcony and closet, took trash out, gamed some more, and took a shower. We are now watching The Wiggles and drawing.
Sounds like you're having a very nice day, Jess. I'm so glad.
DeleteThe rain looks wonderful.. SO proud your getting it.
ReplyDeleteI have had a good Wednesday. Asthma is still giving me fits. But, I was able to mop the kitchen/living room and do a load of laundry.. Proud I could get that done.
Hope you have a great evening.
Judy, glad you were able to be productive even with the asthma. Just don't overdo things. I had a bit of an asthma flare-up, yesterday, but I was able to take 2 puffs of the rescue inhaler and felt better.
DeleteYou were in my thoughts and prayers this morning, Bless and I remembered that you had commented about weight loss and that you needed to lose it anyway. Then it occurred to me that when you reach "the top of the mountain", you will be quite svelte, and like so many others who have been through chemo and lost their hair, you will end up with a great head of hair, perhaps even better than before your treatment!

Love the word pictures you paint, Bushlady! :) Thank you!
