Yay, the weather forecast was accurate and we received some much needed rain today! Not a lot, but any rain is welcome! Besides, it means I don't have to water the garden this week! So, it's frugal, as well. I like rainy days, even when it's on a Monday, unlike in the song, "Rainy Days and Mondays".
The morning was fine; a bit cloudy, but no rain. I went to the office and there was no rain during most of the day. But it was raining on the drive home and it rained most of the evening.
I accomplished several of my To Do's for today: I went to the office, came home and cleaned the fridge, took the trash cans to the curb for trash pick up tomorrow, washed the other sofa slip covers and I put the washed slip cover back on the sofa. I decided to put off cleaning the sliding glass door tracks for the weekend. Tomorrow's To Do's include bringing in the trash cans, putting the 2nd washed slip covers back on the other sofa, and doing a load of regular laundry.
Does anyone else remember the song, "Rainy Days and Mondays"? I'll give you a hint: it was popular in the early 70s!
I remember Rainy Days and Mondays also, but I am just a bit older than you! Couldn't find my previous comments to you (too long ago I guess) but wanted you to know that I tried the cucumber salad (wonderful!) and I searched for "mallung" and did find many recipes. Tried the cabbage and I do like it. I will try more versions when I get back to the store for the ingredients. Thanks for the eating adventure!

Carolie, glad you tried the cucumber salad, etc. and liked them. Maybe I'll do some recipe-type posts in the future.
