Summer Photo Scavenger Hunt: 3rd Link Up

September 30th is the last day of the Summer Photo Scavenger Hunt and it is time for the third and final link up!

This clock commemorates the signing of the Declaration of Independence on the north side:

8:00 P.M. - The Signing of the Declaration of Independence

And, on the south side, when the Constitution of the United States was ratified:

#16 An out of season treat  Alternate B: Fresh, Local Produce:  I was unable to find an appropriate photo for an out of season treat being enjoyed, but, there's nothing fresher or more local than fruit from my garden:

Pomegranate
Calamondin
Feijoa/Pineapple Guava































I picked a couple of the feijoa and enjoyed them as an afternoon snack:

#17: A Sail:  Another prompt I had trouble finding, but I thought the sails of this Dutch "windmill" would do.  It is actually a commercial water dispenser (the sign says "Water Mill") located in a parking lot, and the "sails" don't move!

    You've got some nice snapshots captured there. I have never heard of feijoa, so I'm off to look it up.
