I went to the doctor's today, to get my biopsy results. The pathology report indicates a malignancy. I have breast cancer. They don't know the extent and stage. My doctor has put in a referral to a specialist and I will be scheduled for further diagnostic tests to find out all that. Nothing can be done until the further tests are done and we know more about how far advanced it is. Treatment options, too, will depend on it. So, until then, daughter and I are trying to support each other. Please keep my daughter and me in your thoughts.
Today, I am grateful for:
- Access to medical care
- Knowing in advance so I can prepare myself
- Caring, supportive family and friends
- Hope
- Faith
(((Bless))) I am so sorry to hear this. You, as well as your daughter, are in my thoughts always.

DeleteI didn't read my blogs yesterday - so I have only just picked up the news. You and your daughter are in my thoughts and prayers. I know you are miles away- but I would come round and give you a hug and a homebaked fruitcake if I could. Read Isaiah 43:2, and hang on to the promises there. [My email is on my blog, if you ever want to send a private message] God bless you, strengthen you and heal you - much love xxx
ReplyDeleteAngela, thank you. I have looked up and copied down the verse you have suggested (along with Joshua 1;9 which I found on your blog). I am finding much comfort in those promises.
DeleteYou know how I treasure you and your daughter, and know you are both iin my prayers.
ReplyDelete(((((HUGS))))). Dianaro

DeleteBless, I want you to know that my thoughts, my prayers and my heart are all with you right now. You touch so many people with your words and your beautiful spirit. I truly believe that you were meant to write this blog at this time so you know that you have a lot of people who are here for you and love you and will be going through this with you every step of the way. You are amazing and strong and you will be stronger when you get through this.
ReplyDeleteHugs from me to you, my friend. XOXO
Dawn, how lovely to hear from you! I've been thinking of you and hoping all is well with you and everything is going well with your move. Thank you, for your lovely comments and prayers. You know, you are probably right about the timing of this blog, etc. Somethings are too much of a coincidence to be mere, random chance! Please keep in touch and best wishes to you.
