Blog friend Joy has started posting a monthly "Ten on the 10th" photo post and I have decided to join in. You take ten photos on the 10th of each month and post them. This is my first time participating and I chose to focus on my garden.
The amaryllis bulb that M gifted me sent up two flower stalks and one is blooming:

And for my 10th photo - the arugula (rocket) plants bolted, but, the flowers are so pretty and the butterflies and bees seem to love them:

So many lovely flowers. I grow arugula/rocket for salads, but did realise how pretty the flowers were
ReplyDeleteThank you, Angela. The arugula flowers are very pretty, aren't they? The flowers are edible, too, and so are the seed pods.
DeleteSuch beautiful flowers. You don't see many purely white roses. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThank you, June. The white rose is on a rescued rose "tree" (standard) that M rehomed in my garden. :)
DeleteWhat a delightful set of photos of your plants! I enjoyed seeing them.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Bushlady. I'm glad you enjoyed seeing them. :)
DeleteI'd say ya done good!!
ReplyDeletebobbie
Thank you, bobbie. :)
DeleteLovely photos, Bless. I am so envious of your garden - there's nothing growing in mine at all yet! xx
ReplyDeleteThank you, Eileen. The garden is coming along well, this year. You will have your garden looking lovely once you and your M start planting this spring. :)
DeleteYour flowers are all so beautiful
ReplyDeleteThank you, Anne. This is the time of year when the garden is full of flowers. :)
DeleteBeautiful flowers! I especially love the poppies and the roses. Xx
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jules. I, too, love the poppies and the roses (and just about all the other flowers, too! :D)
DeleteThanks for joining in Bless, I love your flowers, I don't have many yet in my yarden.
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting the 10 on the 10th, Joy. I'm happy to join. Spring is the best time for my garden flowers. Summer gets too hot and everything dries up.
DeleteBeautiful flowers! We are finally beginning to see some of the early spring wildflowers here.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sharon. I'm sure you are happy to see some early spring wildflowers there after all that snow! I know you enjoy photography; maybe you might consider joining in the 10 on the 10th photos in May?
DeleteVery nice imagery for your first Ten on the 10th post.
ReplyDeleteThat variegated plant underneath the beautiful red of the Amaryllis is particularly nice.
Thank you, Debra. The variegated plant is an aeonium. :)
