Please share your faluda recipe, it looks like a great drink for hot days
ReplyDeleteI don't follow an exact recipe, Angela, but, I pour about an inch of rose syrup into a tall glass, add one or two tablespoons of sweetened condensed milk, add ice cubes, and fill it up to the top with cold water. You could add regular milk if you want it less sweet. Some people add cubes of gelatin, vermicilli, and soaked sweet basil seeds, but, I generally don't because all that require advanced preparation. :)
DeleteHomemade lemonade is so refreshing and delicious. X
ReplyDeleteIt is very refreshing and full of vitamin C, too! :)
DeleteThat is an interesting challenge and you found a broad spectrum of beverages to photograph.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Bushlady. I had fun taking the pictures, although, sometimes, we drank something that I forgot to photograph. For example, daughter had a mocktail with hibiscus syrup and lemon-lime soda at the engagement party, but, I didn't take a picture of that.
DeleteGreat fun photos!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sharon. :)
DeleteOf course I had to look up Faluda to see how to make it! I always learn so much from your food posts. I like to try and expand what we eat and I have tried a couple of things I have seen on your blog and we have enjoyed them.
ReplyDeleteFaluda seems like it is a little above my pay grade, but if I am ever somewhere that serves it, I will order it just to try, because it looks very tasty.
Thank you, Anne. Faluda is very sweet and a bit like melted ice cream. We love it, but, think of it as a special treat. If you do try it, I hope you like it. :)
DeleteInteresting collection of drinks. Lemonade looks the best to me. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, June. We do like lemonade when the weather is hot. :)
DeleteEverything looks so good!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Linda. :)
