Dancer's New Box

Dancer Claims a New Box

Two large bags of kibble were delivered earlier in the week and we opened one bag for immediate use and stored the other bag in the spare bedroom.  That left an empty box and it didn't take long for Dancer to claim it as his new box!

"Nothing hiding in this corner"

"I do wonder what happened to the kibble that was here"

"I wonder if this box will suit me?"

"Yes, it seems to fit me"

"If I tuck my paws it, I can lie down"

"Time for a catnap, zzzzz"

We left the box out for a couple of days for him to enjoy, but, daughter broke it down on Sunday.  More about Sunday in another post.

    1. He didn't want to climb into it, but, when I put it down sideways, he was very happy to go inside. :)

    2. It may have hurt his joints to climb over the top. I'm sure he was happy that you turned it for him.

  2. Cute! Does he still use the space in the new unit?

    1. Do you mean the box? He enjoyed using it for as long as it was left there for him, but, we collapsed the box on Sunday. He now has to make do with the sofa. :)

    2. No, not the box. I know it's been thrown out. A few weeks ago you posted photos of the new units you had bought and said Dancer had taken up residence and claimed a cubby hole for himself. I don't have time to refer back now but I'll have a look later in case I can find the photo. (Unless I dreamed it. Possible.)

    3. Ah, yes, that unit! I'm sorry, I had completely forgotten about how he claimed a space in it for himself. Dancer, being Dancer, used his new spot in the unit for two days. After that, he lost interest in it, although we left it empty for several days. Then, on Sunday, when daughter was tidying the house, she used the empty space to put away a few things that were sitting out on the dining table. One of the shelves have been given over to Dancer's food, so, technically, he does have one of the shelves for himself. Just not enough space for him to sleep in. He makes do very well with the sofa and the coffee table. :D

    1. He was very happy with his new box which still smelled faintly of kibble; I think he approved of the "air freshener" scent in his new box! :D
