My November grocery budget is: $100 + $9.41 carried over from October + $71.84 carried over from September = $181.25.

My daughter will be staying with me for the month of November.  I am pretty sure I will be able to stay within budget, but, I might round it off to $200, if I need to.

Have you done any grocery shopping in November, yet?

    1. It truly is a blessing to have her home for the month, Eileen. I think I will be able to stay within the budget, but, if I have to go over, then, I will simply deduct it from the December budget. :)

    1. So far, we have participated in the recent election, had two of her friends over in the evenings for chats and dinner, and just enjoyed being together. :)

  3. Hi Bless, what a wonderful set of savings you have here. I haven't yet shopped for the month.

I wanted to share a belated update that I only made it to 382 items decluttered and not the 460 minimum that was my previous target. October had been so busy that there were several consecutive days where I was unable to make progress. Still, I celebrate almost 400 items being out of my orbit permanently!

I also wanted to address an anonymous judgmental comment I saw about your flu vaccine. Since it was also posted anonymously, I wanted to assure you that I don't pass judgment on people and that this wasn't my comment. I hope that people are kinder in this world moving forward. There is so much to manage and we're all doing our best to stay healthy and to keep our lives intact. Sending you hugs and well-wishes!

    1. Hi Anonymous. Thank you; I try to get my splurge items when they are on sale. :)
Wow! Look at your decluttering total! You did great with the nearly 400 items you decluttered! You get to be Star Declutterer of the Month! Well done!
Thank you for clarifying that the comment about the vaccine wasn't from you. My request for no anonymous comments appear at the bottom of my blog, but, I don't know how many people actually pay attention to it and I haven't been enforcing it, either (obviously, as I am publishing your anonymous comment!) I will, however, continue to monitor comments and decide if comments will be published or not.
Thank you for the hugs and well wishes. I wish you all the best, too, and hope to continue to hear from you in the future. Do you have any decluttering goals for November?

    2. Oops, I missed that request for no anonymous posts. I'll use the alias Nia moving forward to comply with your request and to prevent any future confusion.

Thanks for the Start Declutterer Award. 😊 I hope to declutter 400 more items in November. How about you?

    3. Thank you, Nia. :) I appreciate your using an alias. :)
I wish you the best with reaching your decluttering goal! Mine is going to be a very modest 30 items! 1 item a day! I am not at all motivated to declutter this month!

  6. How lovely for you to have your daughter home for the whole of November! And I'm sure she will appreciate you caring for her, while she continues to recover from her injury.
No grocery shopping here, yet. I'm ready to do a big shop, but won't get my car back from the garage until Monday, so it will have to wait. X

I'm sorry your car is in the garage; I hope it's nothing major.

  7. You did really well with the coupons on this shop and got some really good deals.
That ice cream sounds VERY good. Is it?
Chips. I love chips. They are my downfall.
My sister-in-law once said, "Debra the sandwich is just an excuse to eat the chips". lol. I couldn't agree more :)
I like BBQ chips. I would've gotten the Lays reduced salt in the light blue bag for the regular chips. They are very good - they do have some salt but not a lot.

    1. Thank you, Debra; got to shop the sales as much as I can!
I like this ice cream flavor, but, my daughter wasn't too impressed; she thought the ice cream wasn't very creamy.
I love chips, too. I shall try the reduced salt version the next time I buy some. Maybe you might make your next sandwich a "chip sandwich" with potato chips as the filling. Maybe with a side of chips? :D
