Excellent photos Bless, lots for the Q which I would have found difficult and of course I love the round Dancer :)
ReplyDeleteSadly I have been unable to join in the challenge for March due to illness.
Thank you, Eileen. At first, I thought I'd find the Q photos to be a challenge, but, it wasn't too difficult, after all!
DeleteI'm so sorry that you were unable to join in the challenge due to illness, but, hope you feel much better, soon, and can join the April challenge. Take care of yourself.
I love these - I can match rise, rhubarb and rosemary from my garden. And I too have a tub of Quality Street at the moment (have decided I approve of the recyclable paper wrappers, but I no longer like the blue coconut sweet). The quarters are interesting, especially the m
ReplyDeleteMassachusetts Mill Girl
Thank you, Angela. It was a bit of a challenge to find the Q photos, but, once I got started, I began to see them everywhere! My Quality Street container is empty, but, I kept the container because...well, you never know when you might need one for a Q photo, do you? LOL. The Massachusetts quarter is one of a series called America The Beautiful National Parks Quarters and yes, represents a Mill worker.
DeleteSo glad that Dancer was able to make it into the monthly challenge once again :)
ReplyDeleteYour rose is gorgeous.
Thank you, Mary-Lou. Dancer has to be in all these monthly challenges! :D
DeleteYou did very well with your Q words, and I learned different names for the notes. And how clever to word Dancer in with "Round".
ReplyDeleteThank you, June. I thought that Q would be difficult, but, I enjoyed finding pictures of things beginning with Q. Dancer had three options - relaxing, resting, or round! We went with round!
DeleteI learned something new about musical notes. All your photos are great. The rose is beautiful! Your raccoon friend made a timely appearance to show up as an “R.”
ReplyDeleteThank you, Taconix. I was very happy to have the raccoon visit just in time for the March photo challenge! :D
DeleteI had no idea an 8th note was known as a quaver. Thanks for the education! BTW I love the "round" photo.
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome, Anne. Glad you liked the "round" photo! :D
DeleteWell done Bless! I'm surprised Dancer didn't appear as a Quality Controller but i imagine his fees are probably quite high for all the help he provides with these challenges. His roundness demonstration is not bad at all. Your roses are very pretty!
ReplyDeleteElla
Thank you, Ella. I was planning on having Dancer be a Quality Controller, but, he wouldn't comply! Not even with daughter trying to help! So, "round" it was! It could have been "resting" or "relaxing", too, but, both my daughter and I thought that "round" was what he was trying to be!
DeleteDancer is definitely round!! He's the best, though all of these are great photos. Your roses are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Celie; he tried hard to be a round! :D I picked those roses, today, to arrange for the home altars. :)
DeleteLovely photos. Love the quilts. They are beautiful. You also featured some of my favourite sweets - Quality Street. Yum.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sharon. The quilts are what I made. The Quality Street sweets were a gift from a friend, one year; I saved the container to store some paper my daughter and I made one year.
DeleteYou did well, especially with so many "Qs".
ReplyDeleteThank you, Bushlady. I was happy that I found so many "Qs". :)
DeleteWhat fun images you came up with for March.
ReplyDeleteWhere did you buy Quality Street in this country? I don't think I've ever seen it but have heard about it for years on blogs from the UK that I read.
Haha. Round Dancer.
Thank you, Debra. I bought the container of Quality Street from an Armenian store a few years ago (pre-Covid), shared the candy with friend R, and kept the container! I've seen it at the Sri Lankan store, too (they have a small selection of British products).
DeleteHe tried his best to be a round! :D
Lovely photographs, Bless. I can almost smell the Rosemary. Xx
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jules. The bees just love the rosemary flowers.
