Moving on to this current week - I don't know if I should call it August Week 5 or September Week 1!  LOL.

We'll see how it all works out!

Have you made a meal plan for this week?  How is meal planning working out for you?

  1. The exclamation mark tells me just how much you enjoyed the pizza and ice cream on Friday 😂

I'm following my plan, using up odds and ends this week and I need to go shopping tomorrow so I can make a start on the batch cooking.

    1. LOL! I enjoyed my pizza, followed by ice cream! The funny thing is, when I first came to this country and tried my first slice of pizza, I didn't much like it! It took me several years to develop a taste for pizza (my mother, on the other hand, loved it right from her first taste of it!). But, now, of course, I love pizza!

Well done with following your plan and using up the odds and ends this week! Hope the grocery shopping goes well, tomorrow and the batch cooking, too. :)

  2. I have no formal meal plan and it could be working better, but we're doing okay.

    1. The important thing is your way works for you and your family. :) My meal plan is not all that formal, either; it is more of a list of meal options, I think. :)

  4. It's been too hot to cook and I'm happy to have snacks too although I did make us a nice roast dinner on Sunday. Your pizza and ice cream sounds nice, I may well do that for our tea tonight.

    1. A nice roast dinner on Sunday is traditional, isn't it? I am always ready for pizza! LOL.

  5. I've just returned from buying groceries, many for the visit of DS and family. My supper tonight is going to be a frozen Thai noodle dinner that I bought because that is all I feel like preparing! I have thoughts of a frozen pork chop for tomorrow and maybe some pierogi on Thursday. Friday will be frozen fish and chips cooked in my little air fryer which does a super job with the fries.

    1. Glad you felt well enough to go grocery shopping, Bushlady. Glad you bought yourself a frozen dinner. Sounds like you have your meal plan ready for the rest of the week!
