Sunday Roses

Iceberg Roses

Sunday was a very productive day, but, it is past 2:30 a.m. on Monday, and I think I'd better wait until later in the day to write about it.  In the meantime, these roses are growing in the back garden.

Hope you've had a lovely Sunday and are enjoying a good start to your Monday.

  1. Night, night, sleep tight!

I love iceberg roses but haven't been successful at getting them to grow in my garden.

    1. Thank you, Eileen; I slept well. :)

This is the only one of the many iceberg roses I planted that is consenting to grow! It is one that I transplanted from the front garden to the back. I guess the front is too hot and dry for them.

    1. Thank you, Mary-Lou.
I couldn't fall asleep right away, but, did so, eventually, around 3:30 a.m. Then, woke up once around 6:00 a.m., which was too early, went back to sleep, and slept till 9:00 a.m. :)

  5. Beautiful roses. I'm glad you chose to go to bed rather than write your blog!
We had a pleasant walk on Sunday afternoon and met 3 different neighbours all with their dogs. This morning I've been puttering at all kinds of tidy up jobs that were bothering me.

    1. Thank you, Bushlady. I'm trying to "move up" my bedtime, without much success, as you can see! :D
Glad you enjoyed a nice Sunday afternoon walk; sounds like several of your neighbors had the same idea!
I got my Monday dusting done this morning, took the kitchen composting bits to the garden, and picked fresh roses for the vases. Still need to put away some things and maybe get a load of laundry done. :)

  8. Hope you got some rest! I have been terribly "off" with my sleep patterns. I am making a vow to be in bed before midnight this week.
