Quiet Sunday

I've had a quiet day, today.  Nothing very exciting like earthquakes to report!  Just an ordinary, uneventful day for which I am very thankful!

It was another warm day.  I had French toast for brunch, practiced the piano, checked on neighbor T, took some empty boxes to the recycling bin for her, watched TV, knitted, did several Sudoku puzzles, and chatted with friend R. I had the last of the stringhoppers with fish curry for dinner.  Later in the evening, I video chatted with my daughter.

Today, I am grateful for:
- A quiet, restful, uneventful day
- Being able to do a small service for neighbor T
- Video chatting with my daughter
- Emails from friends
- Moderate air quality

Today's joyful activity was knitting.

Plans for Monday include my piano lesson and doing some housework.

Monday's To Do List:
- Change bed sheets
- Load of laundry (bed sheets/towels)
- Dust living room & dining area
- Clean the fridge
- Take trash cans to the curb for Tuesday trash pick up
- Water the front garden
- Piano lesson

How was your weekend?  What are your plans for Monday?

  1. A quiet day after earthquake and days of poor air quality sounds perfect.

I'm waiting in for a delivery so am taking the opportunity to get the laundry done today. Apart from that, I am trying to find the rest of my photos for the SPSH.

    1. I was happy to have a quiet day. :)

Hope your delivery arrives without any delays and you find all the photos. I need to look for those last few photos, myself! Have a lovely day, Eileen.

    1. Thank you, Susanne. I've a quiet week planned; the only appointment I've scheduled is a tooth extraction on Thursday (so not looking forward to that!)

    1. Thank you, Martha. I've a tooth extraction scheduled for Thursday, but, otherwise, the week should be a good one. :)

  4. That sounds like a good restful Sunday. We are still getting lovely weather and it has even warmed up a little. We went down to the river for a walk.
DH has been cutting down the main berry patch in front of the deck and the open space is amazing. We still have other areas with brambles. This year it produced so pathetically and I think DH was just disgusted with it! It will be interesting to see what we will do with this area, maybe prepare part of it for some commercial berry canes.

    1. It was, Bushlady. I'm all for quiet, calm days! Sounds like you are having some lovely fall weather.

Maybe you can plant some flowers and herbs in that newly cleared space. If you go with commercial berry canes, what will you choose? Maybe some raspberries? That would be my ideal berry to plant. :)

  5. Just reading your to-do list is making me feel bad for falling behind with the housework yet again :)
    I'm glad you didn't experience a further quake. X

    1. I, too, am glad we didn't have another quake, Jules. As for falling behind with the housework, well, I didn't do half my list, yesterday. I had another asthma attack that lasted most of the day, so, I just did the bare minimum and rested.
