30 Percent Done!

I had my 9th radiation treatment today.  I am 30% done with treatments, already!  So far, so good, too. *smile*

It's been a relatively quiet day.  I did some office work in the morning and afternoon.  Later, I did my decluttering for the day.  And in the evening, I took the trash cans to the curb.  In fact, I did everything on my to do list for today, except watering the front garden.  I will add that to tomorrow's to do list.

Today's decluttering:

July18 Decluttering
18 file folders and their contents.  Things like receipts from payments for daughter's dance classes, a certificate of appreciation I received for knitting hats for newborns for someone's Girl Scouts project, statements and paperwork relating to old store cards, correspondence from an aunt who is no longer alive, etc.  There's a little more room in my file cabinet.

Today, I am grateful for:
- Completing 30% of my treatments.
- Not experiencing any side effects, so far.
- Safe drives to the clinic and back.
- Being able to work from home.
- Video chatting with daughter.

Tuesday's To Do List:
- Go for 10th radiation treatment
- Office work before and after radiation
- Mail car registration renewal payment
- Bring in trash cans
- Daily decluttering
- Water front garden
- Water back garden
- Water indoor plants
- Do a load of laundry

How was your day, today?  Did you have a good start to your week?  What are your plans for tomorrow?

  2. You seem to be rattling through the radiaton treatment! I am pleased it's going well. I am also impressed at the folders. I have far too many kept 'just in case'. x

    1. 6 weeks of treatments seemed a long time at first, but after today, I'll only have 4 weeks to go. Time seems to go by quite quickly. It helps that I haven't had any side effects so far.

As for the folders, I tend to hold on to too much paper and for too long! Like you, sometimes it's for "just in case" (never know when it might be needed!) and sometimes, it's for sentimental reasons. But I am OK with culling out these files. One of these days, I'll go through the boxes of old files I've stored in the garage!

  3. Congrats on passing 30% of your radiation treatments and still going strong!

My file cabinet could stand to be cleaned out. It's been on my mind for a while. I think I have every single utility bill received since we've been in the house (14 years) even though nowadays we're getting them via email.

I hope you have a great day today!

    1. Thanks, Nathalie. :)

I used to keep all my utility bills, too! Finally, over the years, I learned to keep only last year's and the current year's. This year, I decided to keep only the current year's bills, because I didn't have room in my file cabinet for more!

Hope you are feeling fine, today. Take it easy!
