Fatigue

Well, the fatigue set in, yesterday evening and stayed with me the whole day.  I spent the whole day sleeping.  I'd wake up, drink something, try to eat something, go to the bathroom and go back to sleep!  I've no appetite, so, eating has been limited.  I'm drinking the meal replacement drinks, eating a spoon of peanut butter for protein, plus fruit.  I realize this is not ideal, but, it is all I can manage at this time.  Hopefully, tomorrow will be better.

Today, I am grateful for:

- Being able to spend the day resting
- A card and flower from my neighbor
- Daughter being home to take care of me (although she goes back to Berkeley, tomorrow)
- The nausea is not too bad (didn't have to take any anti-nausea meds. yet, today)
- Peppermints

Hope you all had a lovely day, today.

  3. Praying for you, my friend. I hope today you will find rest and relaxation and feel some energy restored. Please take it easy and try to get as much rest as your body is demanding.
I know you are going to miss your daughter and that she has been such a blessing helping you through this. Is there someone who could come and stay with you for a few days? I wished I lived closer to give you a hand.
Please take things slowly and don't put any pressure on yourself. Even if you are not up to blogging or anything, we all understand. We just want you to feel better.
    ((Hugs!)) XOXO

  5. Sorry to hear about the nausea and then fatigue the next day. That chemo drug must be working up a storm doing its job while your body is saying "hold it, I'm taking time out". I hope the next day will be much better.

My DS is still suffering the effects of some kind of encephalitis and not able to be active, can't sleep much but doesn't want to stare at the walls. I've suggested talking books might be something to entertain him from time to time. Meanwhile DGD is home with flu, so the house is not too quiet! These are times when I wish we were closer.

  6. I know you will all understand if I don't reply to each individual comment. It's been another not-so-good day, today. But thank you, all, for your thoughts and prayers.
