Blood Test on Tuesday

Today was another good day.

I went to get my blood tests done in the morning.  Fortunately, the lab is located just a few miles from my home, so a 15 minutes drive and I am there.  There was a bit of a wait until I was called in, but that was to be expected.  I always anticipate having to wait and go prepared with stuff to do while I wait.

Afterwards, I came home and went over to give my nextdoor neighbor her belated Christmas gift.

Then, I worked on office-related work for the next several hours.  I am blessed to be able to work from home during this time, between chemo sessions, so I am very conscientious about not abusing the privilege.  I keep track of my hours, so I put in a regular day's work in between medical appointments, and send in completed work products on a regular basis.  I did take a week of sick leave after I had my 1st chemo therapy session and I will probably do the same again after I have my next chemo therapy session, so I can relax completely and not have to worry about work when I am having the worst of the side effects.

Now, I am having a quiet evening, relaxing with daughter.

Tomorrow, I will go back to the clinic to find out the results of the blood tests and get more hydration.
With the end of the year approaching, is anyone starting to think about New Year's resolutions and goals, etc.?

    1. Judy, so sorry to hear you've got a cold. Hope you feel better, soon. Still, you did a lot, getting all the Christmas decorations put up. I enjoy the decorating, don't like the taking them down and putting away part.

  2. So nice that you are able to work from home. I hope everything went well today.

I've thought a little bit about what I want to accomplish in the new year. Lose weight, keep track of money better, keep important documents organized which doesn't sound hard, but geez, mine seem to end up everywhere.

    1. It's hard to keep track of all those important papers, isn't it? I seem to misplace my documents all the time!
