That was a bit scary!
There was one big raccoon and one smaller one; I think the bigger one might be the male? At first glance, they look like big cats, until you see their faces and tails. They were back, yesterday, too. Mama cat seems to be able to hide from them. And yes, raccoons do climb! I've seen them climbing neighbor T's tree in the front and the pine tree in my backyard. They can (and do) climb trees, too. I am hoping they will not try to get to my passionfruit!
Thank you, Eileen; daughter seems to be on the road to recovery. :)Blesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16369267622517848850noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7162428932122354536.post-17197399977930681102022-12-14T10:34:15.584-08:002022-12-14T10:34:15.584-08:00Are racoons considered to be a pest in your area? ...Are racoons considered to be a pest in your area? I had all 4 wisdom teeth extracted (in one go) before I left Sri Lanka and I remember I was miserable! I never thought I'd be tired of ice cream, but, after about the 2nd or 3rd day, I was craving something savory and the cook made me some soup which tasted delicious! Cats and possums for the most part, but, the occasional raccoon, too!
Thank you, Bushlady. My daughter said she's feeling better today than she did yesterday. Even felt up to putting her closet door back on its track (came off the track on Friday, she said). She was apologetic for taking today off from work and I told her to take her time to rest and recover!
Glad you are having another sunny day. Monday for me involved the extraction of my final wisdom tooth and it was not straightforward. The last one took ten minutes, this one took an hour, the services of a consultant surgeon, four stitches and now antibiotics! And I look like a hamster! Luckily my car wasn't clamped for going over the parking time as that would really have been the icing on the cake. I felt shocking in the evening but today has been surprisingly fine. They said to expect swelling and bruising from day three so I am hoping tomorrow won't be worse.Lady Ellahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17050899813793376037noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7162428932122354536.post-85678285447274222592022-12-13T08:03:42.838-08:002022-12-13T08:03:42.838-08:00I'm not surprised your door window needs clean...I'm not surprised your door window needs cleaning with all the critters pushing their noses up against it (I'm sure some come when you are not looking, too!
