I like the photo of the peas in the purple pod. If you ever have a category, "surprise", it might be useful. After all, one might expect to find purple peas in a purple pod, not green!<br /><br />We had more snow which finished after lunch and the sun came out. We were relieved to have two guys come and shovel snow off our roof. They had already done 5 others. Last winter a local restaurant had its roof collapse under a weight of snow.<br />I went out for a walk and saw my doggy friend from next door. He remembered me! The purple peas don't taste any different to me, but, my daughter thinks they are not as sweet as the green ones when eaten raw.
