Other things would depend a lot on how things turn out, where DD settles down, etc. But, health permitting, I will remain where I am for at least the next 3 years. What do...Where are you on the retirement spectrum? What do you see yourself doing as a retiree? People are now planning 35 years in a new role. Do you see yourself staying in your current house or would you prefer a smaller residence or condo? If DD was offered an excellent job elsewhere, would you move to her new location? Would you like to continue to work? Would you like to work from home or part time?

I'd chosen to semi retire last January and while I'm happy to respond to any difficulty my clients encounter, I see myself as having left the workforce and focussed on projects for the next 6 months. I'm totally rejecting travel. Are you finding you have more time to do things now that you are at home? Not as rushed? Sometimes it does come down to an I'll do it later for various reasons. Sometimes, yes, it's just because I feel like being lazy! Which is perfectly alright sometimes. At least you have the option now of not having to leave the house! When I would work all week, all I would want to do is stay home on the weekends. Just need a break from people.

My Friday was alright. Same old days.Jess https://www.blogger.com/profile/15988560520309364294noreply@blogger.com
